I've been awake at odd hours lately.
This might cause lots of unfavourable
circumstances when the school starts
and I would have to resume waking
up early. Since I'm awake all night, I've been
forced to discover the emancipating behaviour of my felines.
Every night, they would scamper around around the
house chasing each other. As they repeatedly
perform this maneuvere, they are 'careful' to
leave every furniture within their reach askew.
Moving on, my parents think I'm dumb enough
not to know what's going on. Yes, i may not be too
involved about domestic matters but that doesnt mean
I dont know what's going on. I mean, I've known
my parents for the past ,excruciating yet sweet, 15 years.
They cant just disguise their discontentment with plastered
smiles and expect me to buy it. The silence between them instead
of the constant chattering is a dead giveaway. I hate the
tension hanging in the air when both are present at home.
I'm mature enough to be aware of this.
And lately, when my sibblings suffer
the wrath of hormonal parents, I was always spared. But i did have to
endure the constant cries and babbles. They would only mention
me between the lines just to prove fairness. I guess they would
know that I would have rudely yet sensibly retort to their
arguements. Well, lets just hope things will blow over soon.
Probably because of this I find celebrating the
existence of our pro-creators, mothers&fathers day,
pointless. They are even on seperate days, there's no
such thing as parents day. I guess they are better off
seperated too.
